Pasco County Real Estate – Something For Everyone!

October 22, 2009

Why save the sun, sand and surf for your vacation? Port Richey offers the best features of Florida’s vacation land in a small, comfortable community that’s perfect for your everyday life. Located on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Port Richey is home to about 4,000 lucky residents who enjoy 240 sunny days a year on white sand beaches that are convenient to popular attractions, excellent shopping, fine dining and cultural and sporting events.

Port Richey, best known as a bustling community for retirees, offers something for everyone, from young families to professionals. There are housing styles to suit any lifestyle including single family homes, condominium communities and townhouses. Many of the homes in the area feature waterfront access for boating, fishing and swimming. The Gulf view from Port Richey is a stunning backdrop for breakfast on your terrace or the view from your living room window.

Like most of the Florida Central Gulf Coast, the Port Richey real estate market has been affected by the recent slump in home sales. The slowdown in sales after five years of rising prices has combined with low interest rates and an abundance of properties on the market to turn Port Richey into a buyer’s market. Prices for newly listed homes in Port Richey are surprisingly affordable, especially when you consider Pasco County’s status as one of the nation’s fastest growing communities.

Whether your idea of a weekend in paradise includes a round of golf at the local club, a waterfront stroll along a quaint main street with craft shops and art galleries, or dinner at a world class restaurant, you’ll find it within an easy distance of Port Richey. Even sports enthusiasts will get their fill of professional sports with pro football, baseball and hockey teams competing throughout the year. If your sporting tends toward personal play, there’s scuba diving, hiking, parasailing, swimming and a wide variety of other activities to enjoy under the sun off the coast or on the canal leading to the Gulf. Now is the time to come home to Florida’s Gateway to the Tropics with a vacation or primary home in the friendliest town on the coast. Come home to Port Richey. The sun is waiting for you.

Pasco Washington Apartments – How To Get What You Pay For

October 17, 2009

If your job has just been transferred to Pasco, Washington, apartment searches are sure to ensue. Long-distance apartment hunting can be a tricky business. If you don’t have the chance to travel there and see it for yourself, it can be hard to choose an apartment. Based on nothing but online ads, it can be difficult to judge whether the neighborhood is as nice as advertised. After all, they can say whatever they want online! While most sellers are completely honest and legitimate in their dealings, you should still beware of the occasional persons who just want to get rid of their apartment.

Fortunately, though, modern technology is allowing it to become much simpler to buy an apartment from a long distance. If you come across a Pasco, Washington apartment on an apartment sales website that looks like something you could live in, there are a number of things you can do to make sure it is satisfactory. You shouldn’t worry about offending the seller by being cautious. If they are being honest in their advertising, they shouldn’t mind answering a few requests on your part.

The first way to make sure that your Pasco, Washington apartment is up to snuff is to post on to a discussion board frequented by people from Pasco. You will have to search around to find one of these, but many region-based discussion boards exist. Once you track one down, just post the address of the apartment. The other users will tell you what they know. How is the neighborhood? Have they seen the building before? If so, is it nice or is it a total dump? This method won’t always work, but you may find someone that can provide you with truly valuable information about the Pasco, WA apartment you are considering living in.

If you want to go truly high-tech in your apartment search, you could ask the property owner to take a video tour of the house, both inside and outside. Depending on how “modern” the seller is, you may get your request honored. But if it’s an 80-year-old that owns the Pasco, Washington apartment then you may not be able to get the video. But if the owner is willing to oblige, you will get a better idea of what the apartment looks like and what the surrounding area is like. Unlike photos, it is more difficult to hide unattractive features of an apartment in a video.

If you are going to be staying in the Pasco, Washington apartment for a long period of time, you may consider flying out and viewing it before you commit to anything. You can arrange a flight that leaves early Saturday and returns on Sunday. This will give you a chance to see for yourself whether it is the kind of place you would like to live in. If you are going to fly to Pasco, Washington then you should arrange multiple apartment viewings for the short time you are there. This way, if you don’t like the first one then you won’t have wasted the trip.

Buying an apartment anywhere is a big move. So if you are looking to buy a Pasco, Washington apartment, you should not treat it lightly. You may be desperate to move quickly, but this doesn’t mean that you should settle for the first one you find. Do the appropriate research and find out the necessary information, and you’ll be able to make a fully informed decision about where you will live. Find out the opinions of locals, ask for a video tour, or go see the property for yourself. Even if you do just one of these things, it will be better than making a blind leap into an
unknown Pasco, Washington apartment.

Pasco Washington Mortgages – Why Would You Pay Too Much? 30 Years Is A Long, Long, Time

October 8, 2009

I can’t speak for everyone in America, but in my experience few people can afford to buy a house in Pasco, WA and pay with cash. At the current selling prices of homes, someone would have to save up for decades just to have enough money to pay for it. But fortunately, there is something known as the mortgage. If you have been relocated, you probably have some other property which legally belongs to you. Using a Pasco, Washington mortgage, you will be able to use your previous house as security to buy your new one. This will allow you a quicker buying process, and could possibly increase your total budget and give you the funds to buy a nicer house.

The best way to get a good mortgage loan is to find a good deal on a house. Of course this should be your goal from the beginning, but this will just be an added incentive to get the best deal possible. When you are speaking with a lender in order to finance your house, you will have a much better case to make if you have found a great deal that you can obviously afford. The more confidence you can give the bank in you, the more likely you are to get an equally good Pasco, Washington mortgage loan. If you go to the bank and show them proof of a regular income, solid credit record, as well as your ability to make the monthly payments on time, this will also help your case.

Also, you should be concerned with finding a Pasco, Washington mortgage loan with an extremely low interest rate. This may be accomplished just by finding the right bank at the right time, but there are also a few things you can do. First of all, realize that the higher the down payment you can make, the lower your interest rate will be. So if you can save for a down payment as long as possible beforehand, you will have more financial freedom in the future, since your interest rate will be lower. You will pay the money anyway, plus a large amount of interest so saving it beforehand is definitely worth it in every regard. If your move to Pasco isn’t rushed by certain time constraints, it is ideal to save money for a year or more to make a down payment. If you own another home which you will sell when moving to Pasco, you can also increase your down payment by rolling over the equity from you previous home.

You may not have luck at the first few Pasco, Washington mortgage lenders you visit. You may encounter too-high interest rates and poor repayment options. But don’t give up hope until you have tried every one of the local options. Pasco, Washington mortgage brokers all vary in their specialties or in their connections. So while one might not be able to give you the loan you need, the next one might. Even if you find one that seems attractive, you shouldn’t stop until you’ve gathered quotes from everybody. Even though one might sound attractive, the next one might top it.

The best way to get a good Pasco, Washington mortgage loan is to be prepared beforehand. If you know a year or more in advance that you are going to be buying a new house, you will be able to do many things to make it easier. You can save money for a down payment; you can work to improve your credit score; and you can avoid other loans which will only increase your debt load. If you do all of these things, you will have no trouble finding a Pasco, Washington mortgage loan and moving in to your new house.

What are the rules for building a storage shed in Pasco county?

October 3, 2009

The shed is 8′ x 14′ with 7′ high walls, do we need permits to have pro built? How close to property line can it be?

You need to contact your town’s building & permits dept., they can usually give you an information packet for the specific job you want to do. The packet will include info like codes and ordinances, building tips, permit info, etc.

These kinds of projects are usually governed at the town level, not county.
